NIWIIT Strengthening Partnerships to Promote Women in Tech

Nigerian Women in Information Technology (NIWIIT) has continued to engage stakeholders in a bid to deepen partnerships that will promote women in tech.

A delegation led by the President of Nigerian Women in Information Technology (NIWIIT), Mrs. Ayodele Oluwakemi Sade, PhD, FNCS, along with Prof. Francisca Ogwueleka, Engr. Mobolaji Adetipe, Engr. Yahaya Hauwa, and Hajia Garki Farida Shehu, were on courtesy visits this week in Abuja.

The delegation engaged in discussions to advance NIWIIT’s mission and the upcoming conference scheduled for 18th – 19th June, 2025.

Their first stop was a visit to Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, FNCS, the Chairman, the Senate Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity. NIWIIT’s team was warmly received by the senator.

The delegation also met with Mr. Ayodeji Rex Abitogun, CEO of Management Edge and NIWIIT’s “He For She” advocate. 

These courtesy visits were geared towards promoting the association’s goals and strengthening partnerships.
