Niwiit IT Woman of the year – 2017

Onashoga Adebukola is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer  Science at FUNAAB.

She has twenty-six papers in reputable Journals and eight International and local conference proceedings.
She had supervised several undergraduates and postgraduates student projects successfully.
During her tenure as the state chairman of Ogun State Chapter of NCS (2013-2015).  some notable and impactful contributions of hers are: she innovated the production of a multimedia learning aid on computer studies for primary
schools in the state.

She also convened a competition named Yele Okeremi Young IT Brains which is making waves among the pcimary school pupils in Ogun State.

This gave birth to Computer Brains Club for both primary and secondary school pupils (wwwcomputecbrainscluborg). She equally kick started the publication of a quarterly bulletin title 1T Pathway Bulletin.

Her major hobby as noted is her philanthropic attitude of which, she has sponsored the studentship of several outstanding female undergraduate and postgraduate student of FUNAAB. She belongs to several notable
Professional bodies, such as NCS, NIWIIT, ACM, ACM for Women, SI, NAUW just to mention but a few, Fier areas of specialization are Information Security, Algorithm development and Data Mining.
