The Nigerian Women in Information Technology (NIWIIT) an interest group of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) is hosting her 9th National Conference with the theme “Empowering Women in Tech: Shaping the Future through Innovation and Collaboration.” This theme underscores the importance of empowering women as key architects of the future digital landscape. By harnessing the power of innovation and collaboration, women can drive positive change, unlock new opportunities, and shape technology-driven solutions that address pressing global challenges.
The Nigerian Women in Information Technology Conference recognizes the pivotal role of women in driving technological innovation, economic growth, and societal transformation. Despite significant strides, gender disparities persist in the tech sector, with women underrepresented in leadership roles, entrepreneurship, and technical fields. This conference seeks to address these challenges by providing a platform for women to showcase their expertise, exchange knowledge, and cultivate meaningful connections within the tech community.
